Smoked Rajasthani onion chutney..

To begin with..
Ingredients:

Onion  2(cut in half and sliced)
Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder 1/2 tsp(cumin powder)
Coal piece 1(koaila)
Salt to taste
Ghee 1 tsp

Procedure:

In a bowl add sliced onion add red chilli power,jeera powder,salt and mix well.
Now on stove burn a piece of coal until its red hot.
Now with the help of a tong(chimpta) put the coal piece in the bowl(still should be red hot) and add tsp of ghee on the coal piece. Soon it will start to bring smoke, so we need to trap that smoke and put any lid on immediately.
We should wait for 5-10 mins and remove the lid.
So there we have it smoked delicious onion chutney. We can have with rotie and its good as a side dish.
